Monday, 29th September. Thunderstorm!

For the house

1. The man was here to replace a chipped tile in the living room. It was so much work just to redo ONE tile!!! He took almost an hour to just remove it!! Imagine if there were 5 hollow tiles!!

2. The people from the Jimmy Textiles were up to take measurement and match the selected curtains and roller blind. The on-site correspondent named Mr Kong was very experienced. He helped very much in the process of choosing the one by explaining and describing the effects and results due to different colors and texture. 2 thumbs up!

For the wedding
Final fitting was fabulous!

1. What coincident to meet Sabrina there, accompanying her sister and future brother-in-law. They are going to Macau for wedding photoshoot! Wow!

2. Roses made of the same material were added to the EG. They were awesome!

3. I requested to try EG with can-can, that gives a little A at the bottom. Instantly, EG looks grander.

4. Pink sash removed from WG. Crystals supposed to be beaded as replacement. Incompleted. Alteration was not well fitted.

5. Outdoor gown was well altered instead. Ha! I chose another blue EG for the outdoor.

6. Bf will be wearing TUX for the photoshoot!! Modern on of cos! Not magician TUX k...

7. Sorted out matching shirt for his MTM suit and my different EG and WG to be worn on photoshoot day!

8. Lastly and finally, together, we tried on some wedding bands at Love & Co. and Sookee Jewellery.

Backdated

Dated: 22nd September 2008.
Venue: Swissotel Merchant Court

The food tasting was generally ok. The seafood was fresh and hope they could maintain what was served on the actual day.

The favor was unfavorable and limited to choices.

Both parents met officially for the first time. It was cohesive, they had more than just our wedding to talk about. The discussion turned out vague to us but the parents seemed to already know among themselves.

We were both too tired to get involved. Simply leave it to the folks.

Let's embrace for next challenging phase..

For the First Time..

Oh.. The food tasting is tomorrow... Both our parents are going to meet officially for the first time!! EEeeWwww...!!!!

I wonder what is there to expect? EeeeWwwww....!!

Nearing the finishing line.

When we thought the house is officially completed, damn it, our ID still sees problem with the door to the kitchen which was already changed once, and the TV console was too small for the amplifier. ;(

They miscalculated the sockets that took up the spaces within. Carpenter is coming up tomorrow to resolve these problems. Poor mr groom-to-be has to be at the house immediately after he returns.

Lastly, I must comment the wallpaper man engaged by our ID was not skillful at all. He gave us headache big time. All he told us was, he scared liao, wanted to cry liao... Well, but in the first place if he could do a good job, we will definitely not call for him again. I am not exaggerating, the wallpaper could be seen torn on the feature. Giving him the benefit of doubt that he could be very shagged already, but that was not professional enough!. mr groom-to-be gave it to our ID, telling him that it's not an excuse and there are leftover wallpapers, he could just redo it with them.

That's all the reason why, the house is dragged to complete.

Time is so running out...

See The Big Picture.

From planning the large layout to shrinking down to small details, I choose to look at it as a big picture. Yup, I am talking about our home.

I did the first round of cleaning with the help of my mum and dad. Dad vacuumed, mum mopped, I wiped. Dad spotted a few things that could cause problem in future. Have I ever mentioned before that my dad was a carpenter? His job now is still pretty related to renovation. And these problems he identified seemed major to me. And there come small details at unnoticeable corners and edges.

However , it looks totally alright to me if I am going to see it as a whole, ignoring unsightly corners, pretend I do not know about them, just letting them be there. I hate to go through amendments and changes. I shall leave the picking and feedback to my bf. Just let my duty be taking care of the wedding, I am a happier girl that way. Hehe...

There are still good things and work done in the house. Perhaps I shall share more of the positive in my next entry.

My purchased at Evov, refrigerator and washing machine will come in on Thursday.... It's going to be a styling day.

Such complete day.

Phew.... It's been a long day...

At 11:30am, I was at our future home running through minor details of the house with our ID. Mr Bf came later with pails, mops, brooms and cloth like a cleaner. They are meant for us to clean the house on Saturday, or rather me. The hanging lights were up. Hanging lights were one of the cheapest and best deal of the whole house so far. I am glad they turn out beautiful.

From there, we drove to Hoe Kee at Jalan Besar to purchase both toilets accessories. We have almost settle everything except a mirror for the common toilet. Do you all know, toilet accessories have trends and design too? The latest toilet paper holder is erected instead of the horizontal one we are familiar with. I think I would have removed the toilet roll out of it if I would have seen it somewhere. I thought I have seen it in one of the hotels and did that. Ha.

Anyway, this toilet accessories shopping was smooth. After that, on the way, we went Xessex to pick up our wallpaper at Park Mall. Ordered them through Tiff's hubby. Hope he does not find me a difficult customer. Haha...

By 4pm, we were at Tg Pagar. Yes at our bridal shop for a trial make up, evening gown fitting, and photoshoot gown selections.

I have no complain about my MTM evening gown. It turns out like what we have discussed and the shade of red, Yvonne, the lady boss chose is pretty. It just need a bit of alteration here and there to make it perfect. In addition, we decided to have no can can and no beadings. A little flower made from the same cloth will be added onto it. Bf likes it.. I like it.

"there meant to be pleats in the front. details are not obvious here."
I brought along the heels I have bought. It wins many compliments. It's such a relief as I am still worried the blink is going to be too much. I bought it because the many salesgirls still think it looks the nicest on my feet after trying a few pairs, so I went along with the majority. Say that I am one with no opinion but it's totally fine with me. :p I fell in love with another covered toe heels, too. White with a flower at the front. Sweet. However, it's a little pricey to consider.

He had also tried on a jacket and collected his pants which he thought was pretty well done and can wear it for work too. Yvonne had already something in mind to dress up my bf on the big day to match my gowns even.

I must say it's really pleasant so far.

The following plan is to collect our FAT BOY from Molecule. In addition, we bought a double side clock.

"This is named Fat Boy, really. Look how big is it even on Mr Bf."

It is such a fulfilling day. So many things were done with. "Stretch and Yawnz.."
Shall sleep soon, in order to walk more walks. =)

Good night, world.

The White and Grey Theme.

Our home.... It's almost there....

The theme begins from the entrance to the house.

Silver grill and white wooden door.
