Keys to Love Nest

A lot of you may not know this. We have collected the keys for our new home last month!! Yes, we received a total of 7 pair of keys in 3 sets. That makes up to a bunch of 21 pair of keys!! HDB has even provided us with a huge key pouch for the keys. A little information of our unit. It's a 7 - 8 years flat, but we are the first owner. Oh, location is SENGKANG! Wahaha....

We have started looking around for contractors and interior designers. We were very open to suggestions and ideas as initially, there was no thought of how we should do up our first home. I have also registered ourself to a forum which is all about Renovation. It's called RenoTalk. It came in so E-handy. From there, we picked a few recommended reno firms, gain some knowledge in materials, tiles, what-to-dos, how-to-dos... Some even taught us where we could save on and which part is a must do.

In the mean time, we are still going through our add-to-favorite Home & Deco and Style Living magazines, hoping to stir our creations and agree on the concepts. As CNY is nearing, most reno firms were busy with deadlines, thus ours will kick off shortly after that. However, Adeline from Summit Design manage to come back to us with 2 layouts yesterday. One is before discussion. The other is after discussion. Let's take a quick peep.

Never mind if you do not know what is it all about. Anyway, it's just a draft. Nothing is finalized yet. We are waiting for the quotations now. Hopefully, it's reasonable. Or rather we are reasonable. Keke....
